Dakahleya: Lawyers subjected to intimidation and harassment file complaints.
Lawyers in Dakahleya have united in open solidarity protesting to the offensive treatment of the lawyers by the Prosecutor General.
In a report to "Ikhwanweb" lawyer Khayry Nour el-Deen asserted that during a session with one of their clients he and his colleagues were insulted and rudely treated by Prosecutor Sherif Fakhry who later called on Security to have them removed from the courthouse. "This is not the first time we have been subjected to unprecedented and unpleasant harassments by the Prosecutors. We have filed numerous complaints but to no avail. He added, "In fact the most recent complaint was to Nabil Algamal deputy secretary of the Lawyers Syndicate in the Dakahleya branch, detailing the unacceptable conduct in which we have been facing, however we were asked to postpone complaints till Saturday since they were on holidays".
