Dakahlia’s Pharmacists Syndicate Chief Arrested

State security forces arrested Bakr Fawzi Fares, the pharmacists syndicate manager in Dakahlia and sent him to Wadi Al-Natrun prison although the prosecution acquitted him.
 
Mansoura state security forces arrested on Tuesday, May 1st, 2007, Bakr Fawzi Fares, the pharmacists syndicate manager in Dakahlia in front of the syndicate headquarters at Talkha while leaving for home.
The prosecution ordered him released but Mansoura state security arrested him and sent him to Wadi Al-Natrun prison.
 
Mr. Bakr is the latest of six Muslim Brotherhood members detained from the village of Menyat Sendob, governorate of Dakahlia; the state security forces is hunting MB members of this village following a malicious complaint which the state security exploited to torture and detain them.
 
Mr. Bakr, born in 1968 in Menyat endob, graduated from Mansoura University, faculty of commerce; he was previously detained in 2005 for two months in Burj Al-Arab prison, Alexandria; he has two sons and two daughters:
Mohamed: third prep school student
Aya: first prep school student
Ahmed: second year at primary school
Alaa: five years old
 
The State Security Police has detained earlier Dr. Mohamed Al Nagar, consultant of medical analyses and virology in the blood bank, Mansoura, while he was heading for the Medical Insurance Hospital in Fardous to get a sick leave; the prosecution ordered him released, but the state security insisted on detaining him on groundless charges and he was sent to Wadi Al-Natrun .
 
Also detained was Ali Mohamed Hisham from the same village in front of his house; the prosecution ordered him released, but the state security insisted on detaining him on groundless charges and he was sent to Wadi Al-Natrun .
It is worth mentioning is that one of the six Muslim Brotherhood members whom the the state security forces were hunting in the village, Atef Al Sayed Tantawi (40 years) died on Thursday April, 5, 2007, when he entered Nour Al-Rahman mosque in Sendob; the worshipers found him dead at sunset prayers.
