In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 Dear Moslem Brothers
Thanks to Allah, Who grants us this great success, and Who gathers people around our message and principles; which is clearly reflected in the result of the first phase of the parliamentary election. Therefore, we express gratitude to Allah for His blessings, He Says ” if you had spent all that is in the earth, could you have produced that affection, but Allah has done it: for He is Exulted in might, Wise” (8, 63).

Then, I thank the Egyptians who portrayed their originality and awareness. Egyptians repose confidence in us and support us, the Moslem Brotherhood. Egyptians choose our methodology for they eagerly look forward to regain their freedom and rights. They seek the long-dreamed reform; to get rid of autocracy, corruption, and eternal rule. Therefore, they elect the Moslem Brotherhood candidates in spite of knowing the government approach towards us.

As for you the members of the Moslem Brotherhoods, who exert all precious sacrifices to enhance your message and to serve your nation, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really hope to kiss your  head   for-Allah-sweated faces. I send my regards to sincere and high-spirited people, who work day and night to please Allah. I will not be able to make up appreciate your efforts so I invoke Allah to reward you.

O the Moslem Brothers

You unquestioningly grasp that faithfulness is the core of actions. The Islamic-law-regulated deeds are the accepted, regardless its outcome. Man should exert efforts but success is God’s gift. Accordingly, we act for the sake of Allah, as our slogan says’ Allah is our aim’. You have been devoted, so that you ought to have full confidence in Allah’s award, either you win or fall. The election result, thanks to God, it fruitful; I do not mean the number of won seats but our gained yes votes, in comparison with other. These yes votes undoubtedly show people understanding which paves the way for accepting our message and cooperating with us. This achievement is our ultimate end for we attempt to get our message across and not to seek self-interest..

Thus, I would like to address those whose candidates are fallen saying “so lose not your heart, nor fall into despair” (3,139). In fact, belief knows no depression and faithfulness needs no desperation. Allah Says “truly no one despairs of Allah’s soothing Mercy except those who have no faith”, (12, 87). So do not let failure to be source of sadness but let it to be a drive for determination for achieving reform and goodness, especially when we are quiet sure that the failure is not a result of people’s refusal of our thoughts, but is an outcome of rigging.

I prefer to remind you of some meanings; our message, Islam, is a comprehensive remedy for all aspects of life. As for the political sphere, we seek to participate in this domain, with adherence to the Islamic morals, to improve individuals. Election, in fact, is a part of the political chain. Subsequently, we try to make it fair and transparent; to be a mirror of people’s will. So I urge you not to muse on the election, let’s keep on our way enthusiastically. Let’s be examples to people, via practical approach rather than by mere talk. By this way, people joint us willingly.

You should remember that our methodology of reform initially concerns with self refinement, Allah Says” verily never will Allah change the conditions of people until they change what is in themselves”, (13, 11). In order to attain the long-desired reform of society, we should start with individuals and groups.

We are given life by Allah so we live for Allah and invoke His support and reward. Whose end is so, should abide by God-made code and try to encourage the society to observe it.

I express repeatedly my appreciation, regards and pray… may Allah guide you and fulfill your wishes… constantly recall Allah’s Saying” and those who strive in Our (Cause), We will certainly guide them to Our Paths: for verily Allah is with those who do right”, (29, 69).

I conclude saying “Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds”­­­­­­­­­­­.
