Detaining Two Muslim Brothers, Ignoring Release Decision for Two Others

Egyptian State Security forces arrested Wednesday two Muslim Brothers from the Nile Delta city of Kafr El-Sheikh.


 


The detainees are Hussein Assal (a shop owner) and Mahmoud Al-Qalaa (a worker in the shop).


  
Atef Sharif, Muslim Brotherhood candidate in the recent municipal elections, is still held in custody despite the decision of the Supreme State Security Prosecution to release him on August 31. Moreover, Dr. Musa Zaayed , MB candidate in the PA elections of  Kafr El-Sheikh governorate in 2005, is still held in custody despite the decision of Desouk prosecution to release him on September 2.
 
The number of detainees in Kafr El-Sheikh reaches five persons, and there are 27 others detained in Borg Al-Arab Prison and six others in Wadi Annatroun criminal prison.
