Detention of Zafarany & Other 24 MBs in Alex

The State Security Apparatus launched large-scale detentions against Alexandrian MB members yesterday evening. The detention list topped by the ex-Head of Alexandria MB Executive Office and member of the MB Shura Council Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zafarany, and other 24 MB members from that coastal city.
The wave of arrests includes:

8. Medhat Ghoneim

13. Hussein Ismail

15. Muhammad Ibrahim Farag
16. Muhammad Ali
17. Khaled Abdul-Mo’ti

In a statement to Ikhwanweb, the de facto Head of the MB Executive Bureau, Dr. Osama Nasreddine commented on these detentions saying that the Egyptian state aborts all activities, supporting the besieged Palestinians in Gaza. “These demonstrations are the only possible ways to express our frustration and discontent with what’s happening in Gaza” Nasreddine elaborated
Note-worthy, this is the second police raid on MBs in Alexandria on the background of Gaza demos during this week.
