Diaa Rashwan: Brotherhood teaches ruling regime a valuable lesson.
Expert Diaa Rashwan from Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies expressed that the transfer of authority in the Muslim Brotherhood Movement that was recently witnessed was truly an example for all to learn. He stressed that the Movement truly demonstrated that the key to successful leadership today is through influence, not authority where setting an example is not the main means of influencing another, it is the only means.
In a conference Rashwan claimed that the decorum practiced by the group during the transfer was truly admirable and a fine example for all powers to culture themselves by. He addressed the ruling regime, different political trends and Islamist movements urging them to watch and learn. Rashwan emphasized that it was imperative that the Movement continue to be part of the political and social arena stressing that the marginalizing and exemption of the group was unwise. He highlighted the necessity of all political walks to interact and communicate in an effort to exchange experiences, foresight and ideas for the well-being of Egypt.
