Doctors Blog against Medical Carelessness

A number of physicians working at al-Mattariyah Educational Hospital have created a blog for disclosing the violations and negligence practiced by the hospital administration, which has recently led to the death of four new born infants inside the hospital’s incubators due to power cut for more than two hours.

The blog titled akroot4ever tackles the details of what happened on Thursday 22 May when electricity went off for more than two hours leading to the death of four babies and brain atrophy of a patient.

The blog published the witness of a physician who shot the clip of the accident. The blog also showed the so-called “Misery of the ICU of the hospital” that has been inaugurated last May without well-trained medical cadre to run the unit; and therefore led to the death of a person in the ICU last May 17th though the apparatus kept on signaling the stability of the patient; but his death was discovered many hours later.

The blog published a new video clip showing the death of the woman while the machine beside her shows that she is still alive, and a physician affirming her death at least a couple of hours ago.

Bloggers pledged to disclose all violations relating to the hospital along with videos and documents when possible.
