Doctors examine Elewa to determine condition
Elewa who was arrested in early February is among the 28 senior leaders, administrators, and members of the Executive bureau who are included in case 202 of 2010 with Dr Mahmoud Ezzat the movement’s deputy chairman
In a statement to “Ikhwanweb” Elewa’s wife described the officials treatment of her husband as “inhumane and uncivilized” stressing that her husband’s handling was a complete violation of human rights. She was however able to visit her husband in the prison’s hospital taking with her his medication and personal belongings. She highlighted that it was imperative that he have his heart pacer with him at all times
Elewa’s lawyers are hoping the Prosecutors will take into consideration his unstable health condition and issue a release order
