Dr. Mohamed Morsi Meets Iraqi Ambassador
Dr. Mohamed Morsi, Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), asserted that Egypt is blessed with great human and natural resources which were largely wasted, abused and looted during the former regime.
Speaking, Monday, during a meeting with Iraqi Ambassador to Cairo, Nizar Khairallah, he said, "We are currently going through a critical phase in Egypt’s history which requires effective national coordination and broad consensus to face the challenges, after the January 25 Revolution".
He added, "Without doubt, the success of the electoral process has contributed in laying the cornerstone for the constitutional and legislative system, and paved the way for building State institutions in the new, modern Egypt".
The Iraqi Ambassador stated that, "The success of Egypt’s revolution is an indication of the democratization process witnessed throughout the Arab Spring countries".
