Egypt: MP’s call for discussion of human rights report
MB MP Hussein Ibrahim stressed that the Parliament’s marginalizing of the council’s reports, illustrates that they are regarded as insignificant. He asserted that the report revealed that numerous human rights violations were practiced on the part of the government such as unjustified arrests and false charges including threats to public order.
Human rights and organizations worldwide described the violations by the Egyptian ruling regime as being systematic.
