Egypt: Police Arrests 3 More MB Members

The Egyptian security forces arrested, Wednesday at dawn, three Muslim Brotherhood members from three governorates; the detainees are Mohamed Mahmoud Abdul Gawaad, a health inspector from Alexandria, and Eng. Said Saad Ali from Kafr Al-Sheikh, and Dr. Diya’ Al-Din Farahat from Mansoura .

It is worth noting that these detainees were arrested on July, 13, 2006, among nine Muslim Brotherhood members in Nasr City, Cairo after raiding a meeting they were holding; they were accused of belonging to an outlawed group, and of trying to revive the ideology of the group !!

Also, they were charged of attempting to establish communication channels with Egyptian and international charities to raise money for supporting the MB activities, and of establishing charitable projects for the group, like: Al-Jam’iya Al-Shar’iya in Egypt, and forming an ad hoc committee Lajnat Al-Bir (Charity Committee) so as to be a financial support for the group’s activities.
