Egypt nabs 15 leading members of the MB for pro-Palestinian demonstrations

The members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood were picked up in the Nile Delta province of Sharqia; a day after police clashed with hundreds of students and arrested 15 during a protest at Cairo University
The Brotherhood, which often holds pro-Palestinian demonstrations, called for protests across the country over Israeli settlement construction in annexed Arab east Jerusalem and the incorporation of two shrines in the occupied West Bank as Israeli heritage sites
Police often detain members of the Brotherhood, the country’s largest opposition movement, and have clamped down on the group in recent months, imprisoning a deputy leader and several senior party officials
