Egypt Pro-Democracy Alliance Delegation Offers Condolences for Mandela Death

A delegation from the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance visited Dr. Saad Cachalia, Ambassador of South Africa in Qatar, to offer sincere condolences from the supporters of constitutional legitimacy in Egypt and elsewhere, for the death of a great symbol of the struggle for democracy – Nelson Mandela.

The Alliance’s delegation included Dr. Mahmoud Hussein, Muslim Brotherhood Secretary-General; Dr. Nevin Malak, Wasat Party leader; and Ihab Shiha, Asala Party Chairman.

The delegation also expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the people and government of South Africa, which refused to receive any illegitimate delegation offering condolences for the death of inspirational Mandela.

The South African ambassador affirmed that his country’s position in support of democracy and the rejection of military coups is clear, adding that this is causing resentment among the putschists.

The ambassador extended the warmest welcome to the members of the Alliance delegation for their visit and wished them every success in their endeavors.
