Egypt Pro-Democracy Coalition Condemns Israeli Company Involvement in Suez Canal Security

The Egyptian Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance condemns the presence of an Israeli maritime security company – Seagull Maritime Security – in the Suez Canal and other sensitive Egyptian locations in the Red Sea. The Alliance affirms that this no doubt threatens Egyptian national security.

The situation exposed by the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Britain, revealing the presence of the aforementioned company in the Suez Canal – the most important maritime route in the world, and a symbol of Egyptian sovereignty – is a natural consequence of the Egyptian army being occupied with politics, leaving Egyptian national security to foreign forces.

The Alliance further affirms that the above-named company is run by Zionist generals, including former naval commander Eliezer Marom – who is accused in the attack on the Freedom Flotilla that tried to break the siege of Gaza in May 2010. Marom also participated in Operation Cast Lead, the attack on Gaza in December 2008. The presence of the company is considered a foothold for occupation of sensitive locations, and gives foreign forces access to information related to Egypt’s homeland security.
