Egyptian National Powers Call for Boycott of Israel, Opening of Crossings
Egyptian national powers, including MB Chairman, organized Saturday a one-and-half hour protest against Gaza horrific airstrikes in front of the Press Syndicate where they called for boycotting Israel and severing all diplomatic relations with the occupying entity.
Nearly three thousand people participated in the protest amidst a large presence of security forces. Many leaderships of political parties and national powers took part in the protest.
The leaderships included MB leader Mohamed Mahdi Akef, MB Secretary General Dr Mahmoud Ezzat, in addition to many other MB leaderships. Among participants were leaders of Karama Party Hamdeen Sabbahi and Ameen Eskandar, leaders in Labor Party Magdi Hussein and Magdi Karkar, and tens of Nasserite and Tagamu’ parties’ leaderships.
About 20 MPs of the Muslim Brotherhood participated including Dr Mohamed Saad El-Katatni, head of MB Parliamentary bloc.
