Egyptian Revolutionary Council Mourns Zamalek Martyrs, Vows Retribution

Once again, Egyptian blood flows thick like foaming rivers in yet another massacre by coup security militias against Egypt’s youth who ignited the January 25 Revolution. Once again, the mad military machine executes yet another massacre against Egyptian Football fans.
After the Port Said massacre on February 1, 2012 – in which 74 Al-Ahly football fans were murdered – Egyptian police forces today (Sunday) kill more than 28 Zamalek football fans in a sports stadium called June 30 (refers to the June 30 bloody coup that trampled popular will and derailed the democratic transformation process), as if the coup regime insists that its massacres include all segments of Egyptian society.
Having killed thousands in the Rabaa and Nahda massacres, months ago, here junta forces kill football fans not affiliated to any political movement – a sign that the brutal sadism of military rule does not discriminate in its repression between political opponents and ordinary citizens.
The Egyptian Revolutionary Council (ERC) offers its sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs today. ERC holds the coup regime – led by Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi and his Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim – fully responsible for the callous spilling of this innocent blood that has added more sorrow to Egyptian homes.
ERC also vows to exact retribution for these martyrs and all the martyrs of innocent Egyptians. It also calls on all revolutionary men and women of Egypt to unite – without delay – to rid this homeland of the corrupt brutal coup regime, whose continued rule will only cause more massacres of innocent Egyptians.
This coup has made all of Egypt unsafe for the people, who constantly fear this junta regime’s ruthless militias. Indeed, there will be no safety nor security until we are rid of the military coup gang and its brutal militias.
Glory to the martyrs
