Egyptians Abroad Protest for Right to Vote in Elections

Tens of Egyptian expatriates in Paris rallied in front of the Egyptian Military headquarters Saturday, demanding  the right to vote in the upcoming upper and lower legislative and presidential elections scheduled to be held in Egypt following the the January 25 Revolution.

The Egyptian flag and banners were raised by men, women and children, demanding equal rights while slogans were chanted calling for the Egyptian expatriates claim to participate and practice their legitimate rights to vote in the elections.

According to the protesters, Egyptians abroad have been deprived the right to vote for decades, and it’s time for them to acquire this privilege.
