Enforced Disappearance of 4 Port Said Citizens Continues Despite All Efforts to Find Whereabouts
The enforced disappearance of 4 Port Said (Egypt) citizens continues. They were arrested by National Security forces in Port Said on September 9, 2017; their whereabouts are still unknown, amid conflicting reports that they are being held at the Central Security headquarters in Port Said or hauled off to Cairo, despite repeated complaints from their families to the Attorney General and to Port Said Prosecution office pleading for information as to their loved ones’ fate and whereabouts. There has been no response from coup regime authorities.

We call on human rights organizations to help uncover the facts behind the disappearance of these citizens, and to urge coup authorities to stop these repressive practices.

The forcibly disappeared are: Mokhtar Abdel-Naim, Ahmed El-Nadi, Mostafa El-Hout and Taha Shaker.
