Erian: Freedom and Justice Party Joins Political Players for Friday of Persistence
Dr. Essam El-Erian, Vice Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), affirmed that the party will actively join in peaceful demonstrations in Cairo and all governorates of Egypt on Friday June 8, 2012 together with other political parties and revolutionary and youth movements.
Protesters reject rulings issued in the cases of killing of revolutionaries and abuse of power, in which the defendants were former president Hosni Mubarak and a number of his aides.
The Friday demonstrations also call for the application of the law of political isolation, or disenfranchisement law, against everyone guilty of corrupting political life or social and economic development, under the former regime.
