European Jewish organizations blackmailing IHH
As international outcry escalates against the Israeli massacre on the Freedom Flotilla and calls for relinquishing the oppressive blockade against the innocent Palestinians in Gaza, the European Jewish Congress (EJC), the body for Jewish communities in Europe, has played victim submitting a formal request that the "Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief" the (IHH) have its assets seized and the organization placed on the EU list of banned terrorist organizations
Dr. Moshe Kantor, in yet another form of Islamophobia alleged that the IHH is "an organization with known and recognized ties to terrorist groups and activities" "operating under the guise of a humanitarian organization." The Jewish congress claimed that the IHH is affiliated with Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood’s offshoot "which is on the EU list of terror organizations
The preposterous accusations leveled against the IHH are mere propaganda campaign since in fact the attacked ship is affiliated with Turkish organizations and was carrying men; women and children, where reports have even asserted that Israeli troops aimed their guns at one of the crewmen’s infant son. Incidents as these trigger questions as to who is the terrorist and who needs to be kept at bay The Turkish Miva Marmara was in fact transporting over 10,000 tons of humanitarian aid and construction material to the besieged Gazans, who are suffering from the blockade imposed by the same group depicting them as terrorists
According to the EJC, the Turkish government raided the organization’s Istanbul offices, where they found weapons; however the IHH is known for its humanitarian aid efforts and has been joined by peace activists from all over the world
