Extremist Jewish groups make prayers to the south of the Aqsa Mosque

Extremist Jewish groups gathered on Thursday night at a dig to the south of the Aqsa Mosque and performed Jewish rituals.

Al-Quds International Institution said that participants raised Israeli flags, sang “united Jerusalem” aloud  and called for the destruction of the Aqsa Mosque to build their alleged temple in its place.

This rally coincided with the anniversary of the Israeli occupation decision to annex east Jerusalem.

Extremist Jewish groups had announced ahead of this anniversary their intentions to carry out activities to mark the occasion especially around the Aqsa Mosque, the Buraq wall and Jewish settlements in the old city.

Such rallies are usually noisy and accompanied by attacks on Palestinians and their shops in Jerusalem.
