Falahat Slams Russia For Adding MB To List of Terrorist Groups
In a statement to Ikhwanweb, Jordanian MB Chairman Salem el Flahat lashed out at Russia for its decision to place the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood on the list of terrorist groups. Flahat attributed this step on the part of Russia as evidence that the entire world has been influenced by the Israeli propaganda which sells the idea that any group standing up to the Israeli enemy will be treated in the same way” This campaign is aimed to mar the image of the Muslim Brotherhood in particular and the resistance in general”, he said, adding that the entire world has known the Muslim Brotherhood or Ikhwan since it was founded in Egypt in 1928 as a group that has adopted peaceful means for change and that it shuns violence, revolutions or assassinations. However, Flahat said that such measures on the part of Russia will not have any impact on the group nor will they weaken it, adding that this measure is mainly aimed to scare the world away from the movements which resist the Israeli American hegemony in the region.
