FJP in Kafr El-Sheikh Accuses Rebel, Salvation Front of Looting and Torching Property

The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) in Kafr El-Sheikh issued a statement earlier on Sunday accusing Rebel movement, the National Salvation Front (NSF) and remnants of the defunct National Democratic Party of attacking, ransacking and burning a number of shops belonging to Muslim Brotherhood members and trapping worshipers inside a mosque in the city of Fowa.

The FJP statement said that opposition thugs looted and burned a number of shops just because they belonged to members of the FJP in Fowa, Kafr El-Sheikh province – 134 km north of Cairo.

The statement stressed that besieging mosques, violating sanctities and attacking private property has nothing to do with political disagreement, peaceful demonstrations or political opposition. They are certainly cowardly criminal acts.

In the statement, the FJP said that it would take all legal actions against violence, vandalism, the burning of shops, the besieging of mosques and violent attacks against citizens. The party would also take legal action against all those who incite people to commit acts outside the law or the norms and conventions of Egyptian society.
