FJP Offers Condolences to Maspero Victims at Suez Church

Ahmed Mahmoud, leader of the Freedom and Justice Party in Suez, visited the Church of the Virgin (Suez), at the head of a delegation of political parties and national forces, to offer condolences to the victims of the Maspero events.

The delegation was received by archbishop Antoanius of the Suez Diocese, and all participated in speeches and offered condolences, and emphasized that Suez is but one family, free from the plague of sectarian strife.

In his speech, Ahmad Mahmoud stressed that the solution to the current problem lies in establishing the “State of Justice” in which everyone is subject to the rule of law.

Archbishop Antoanius welcomed this initiative, and called upon all those present to keep communication channels open, and not to listen to rumours.
