FJP Women’s Committee Raises Health Awareness for Women
In a bid to promote women’s health care, the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Women’s Committee, in Egypt’s seaport city Alexandria, organized health classes focusing on osteoporosis, under the guidance of Dr. Hossam Bahgat.
Amal Mohamed Mustafa, Committee Secretary, said that the classes were open to all residents in the district. "These classes are organized on a regular basis and are held fortnightly. Other services available include tests which may be performed to measure bone density at the headquarters. Furthermore, the committee also organizes Human Development and Health Awareness courses which are readily available", she added.
Free consultations were also offered in coordination with Dr. Bahgat who had praised the role played by the FJP’s women’s committee. He observed: "It is pleasing to see interest in women’s health care and the efforts made by the party to raise awareness and care for women in the community".
