Four MB Candidates Arrested During Campaign Stops

Damanhour’s prosecution in Behera governorate, Egypt, ordered detention of four Muslim Brotherhood (MB) candidates who have succeeded in registering their names as candidates in the upcoming municipal elections.


Egyptian State Security Forces have arrested the four MB candidates yesterday during their campaign stops. Their detention is expected to last for at least 15 days.


The names of the MB candidates arrested yesterday are:


1. Tag El-Din Abdul-Latif.
2. Essam Abu-Hareth.
3. Samir Hussein Khobez.
4. Salah Hassan Salama.
