Freedom and Justice Party Delegation Visits Istanbul; Promotes Tourism and Development

A Freedom and Justice Party in Luxor delegation is to visit the Turkish city of Istanbul early next week on an invitation from one of Turkey’s cultural institutions and the A9 television channel.

The delegation includes Dr. Abdul-Mawgoud Rageh, member of the FJP’s Foreign Relations Committee; Mohamed Abdel-Salam, Secretary of Planning and Development; Saad Abdul-Mawgoud, Education Committee official. The delegation has already met with members of the Turkish Parliament and the Governor and Mayor of Istanbul.

For his part, Mohamed Abdel-Salam confirmed that this visit comes within the framework of consolidation of relations with the Republic of Turkey and opening new horizons of cooperation between the provinces of Luxor and Istanbul, as the Egyptian delegation has a twinning project for the two provinces.

In support of these important initiatives, the province of Luxor is to help further strengthen Egyptian-Turkish relations. The FJP delegation will carry an invitation from the governor of Luxor to Istanbul’s governor to visit the prestigious tourist city in Egypt and see the ancient monuments.
