Freedom and Justice Party Demands Accountability for Negligence in Building Collapse Accident
The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) in Alexandria Wednesday expressed profound grief and sorrow as it mourned victims of a building collapse in Alexandria, praying for a full and speedy recovery for all those who were injured in the accident.
The FJP demanded decisive action against those responsible for this tragic incident so it should not be repeated ever again.
Thousands of people in Abu-Hommos town in Egypt’s Beheira province mourned the family of Brotherhood leader Mustafa Yahya Atta, member of the teachers union in Abu-Hommos, who were among those killed in the tragic incident when their block of flats collapsed in the area called ‘Almamora’ in Alexandria. Atta lost his wife, Khadija Mohamed Ali, head of the FJP Girls Secretariat in Abu-Hommos, an FJP leader and one of the town’s Muslim Sisters icons, and his two children Yahya – a fifth grade student and Hager – a second grade student.
A large number of Muslim Brotherhood and FJP members attended the funeral in Abu-Hommos, joining figures representing a number of other Islamic groups and parties and MPs.
