Freedom and Justice Party Denounces Violations of People’s Dignity and Human Rights
In a press statement, Hussein Ibrahim, Secretary General of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said that the reported incident of assaults on a citizen in Shubra Al-Khaima Police Department is most reprehensible and abhorrent, declaring that the FJP rejected all forms of attacks on the dignity of citizens.
Ibrahim called on the Interior Ministry to take prompt action as appropriate, and it quickly ordered an investigation into the incident, and vowed to announce the results without delay.
"The FJP will continue its chosen approach, working for a modern postrevolution Egypt that has a professional and credible police force that is, at the same the same time, capable and efficient and preserves and protects human rights."
