Governor of Qalyoubeya orders distribution of publications against Beltagy
Arbitrary measures continue to be taken against Muslim Brotherhood MP Dr. Mohamed Beltagy who is known for his strong stances in calling for the rights of residents in the district of Shubra al-Kheima.
Millions of publications were distributed following the Friday prayers by a group of young children and youths holding large envelopes bearing the address of the Head of the City Council’s office. The envelopes were sealed with the stamp of the Qalyubiya governorate indicating that the distributions of these statements were made under an official and direct order by the governor.
The statement included verses from the Quran and citations used against Beltagy, who was accused of lying and using religion for political purposes to the people in his constituency without any fear of his creator.
