Hamas: Gaza people paying for the wrong done by the Arab committee
GAZA, The Hamas Movement stated that the Gaza people are paying the price for the “sin” committed by the Arab League’s peace initiative committee when it approved to resume direct talks with Israel, thus providing it with a cover to persist in its crimes.
Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum stressed Sunday that Israel needed a political cover to escalate its military actions against Gaza, and Judaization and settlement activities in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank and got that when the Arab peace initiative committee gave the green light for the Palestinian-Israeli direct talks.
Spokesman Barhoum added that the compliance of Mahmoud Abbas and the Arab countries with the Zio-American pressures would be very detrimental to the Palestinian people’s interests, calling on the Arabs to atone for their sin and revoke the authority given to Abbas to engage in talks with Israelis.
The spokesman also slammed the letter sent by US president Barack Obama to Abbas, saying this letter exposed Obama’s biased policies and frustrated the Palestinian people’s aspirations.
