Haneyya lauds Egyptian role in phone call with Sharaf
Palestinian premier in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haneyya reached his Egyptian counterpart Esam Sharaf over the telephone at a late hour on Wednesday night and thanked him for his country’s patronage of the Palestinian reconciliation.
He hailed the incessant Egyptian efforts toward reaching the goal of national reconciliation, highlighting the importance of that achievement.
Haneyya said that post revolution Egypt played an important role in concluding that agreement, calling on Cairo to continue in its supportive role of the reconciliation process.
For his part, Sharaf stressed that his country would continue to support the implementation of all articles of the agreement.
