Heshamt threatens to ask for International Investigation
Gamal Heshamt, the Moslem Brotherhood’s nominee in Damanhor, threatened to hold an international investigation over the results of his second round of parliamentary vote. He asserts that the initial results of the vote-count showed a great margin in his favor, but Mustafa el-Feqy, the nominee of the National Democratic Party, was declared to be the winner.
In his statement to Islam online, Heshamt said that he will take legal actions against that fraud. And added that If this legal action is hindered,” I will request an international investigation”
It is worth mentioning that the vote in Damanhor electoral district was very critical. For it is said that el-Feqy is expected to hold an outstanding position in the NDP, therefore, his success is very crucial.
