The Moslem Brotherhood candidate in Damanhor district, Dr. Muhammad Heshmat, said, in a 10.000-attentned popular gathering, that the Nation Democratic Party starts to be disappointed due to the growing support of the MB candidates.
Heshmat underlined, in his address, that the slogan, ’Islam is the remedy’, is valid, according to the court rule and the decision of the State Council. He added that the slogan implies a civilized project for all Egyptians, without religion-based discrimination. The slogan underscores justice, transparency and freedom.
He, then, hinted to the problem of bread. He said that wheat is the most important food in the world. He wondered why the import price of wheat is so variable! Why the government refuses to take the wheat yields from the Egyptian farmers!
Abdel Aziz Makuan, a well-known actor, participated in this gathering. He addressed the attended people emphasizing the need of reform. “You know that all opposing powers, the Moslem Brotherhood in particular, demand reform of a country that has experienced a deposited system since 30 years. Our opinions are disregarded. Talents are neglected “, he explained.
As for the criticism made about the Moslem Brotherhood’s slogan, Makuan highlighted that Christians do not fear the Moslem Brotherhood but fight corruption and totalitarianism.
