Hundreds of Women Killed and Injured in Mansoura Pro-Democracy ‘Break the Coup’ Mass Rally

The ‘Anti-Coup, Pro-Democracy Alliance’ condemned the killing of four women in ‘Break the Coup’ million-man march in Dakahlia Governorate, where over 200 others were injured (over 150 of them are reported to be seriously wounded, currently in hospital), shot with live bullets and bird-shot, fired by thugs of the supposedly defunct National Democratic Party, with the help of the security apparatus.

The women killed in this barbaric bloodbath are: Hala Mohamed Abu-Sheasha, 20 years; Islam Ali Abdul-Khaliq, 38; Amal Metwalli Farahat, 45; and a young girl who has not been identified as yet.

Dr. Ahmed Aref, Muslim Brotherhood spokesman, said: "Thugs attacked the march of Egyptian women, killing 4, including a 13-year-old girl. Two hundred women were also injured in mass demonstrations on the streets of Mansoura. Evidently, this is a brutal assassination of all the meanings of humanity, with live ammunition.

"May the eyes of cowards never rest or sleep!"
