Hussein condemns building the fence between Egypt and Gaza

The MP Saad Hussein, member of the Muslim Brotherhood Parliamentary bloc, submitted an urgent statement to the Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of Foreign Affairs, regarding the government’s construction of an iron wall on our borders with the Palestinians.

He said: "what the government does violates Article 1 of the Constitution which provides that Egypt is part of the Arab nation and works on its unity. It also violates the Geneva convention on occupied peoples which provided that neighbouring countries should open its borders to displaced people and provide them with food, drink and medicine".

He also emphasized that the government of the Zionist entity submitted the matter to the Knesset before building the iron fence and obtained its approval, however our esteemed government started the construction of the wall without discussing it at the Parliament or obtaining the approval of MPs.
