Interview with Secretary General of the Islamic Group in Lebanon on the Current Crisis
The takeover of Beirut by the largest opposition faction in Lebanon Hezbollah represented a violent earthquake to the already weakened Lebanese state. Recent military confrontations in the city were reminiscent of the latest Lebanese civil war, and there seemed to be signs of an imminent sectarian strife between Sunnis and Shiites, the two major Lebanese factions.
