IOA blocks entry of AFEH observer into Aqsa Mosque
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, — The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has issued a military order blocking Fawaz Eghbariye, an observer working with the Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage (AFEH), from entering the Aqsa Mosque for six months.
AFEH said in a statement on Wednesday said that Eghbariye follows up its work in the Aqsa Mosque.
Eghbariye was summoned to the IOA police station in Maskobeh in western Jerusalem where he was handed the order.
He said, commenting on the decision, "If they bar us from entering the Aqsa Mosque it will remain in our hearts and souls". He added that despite the ban he would continue to serve the Aqsa Mosque and the holy city of Jerusalem.
