IOA confiscates 90% of endowment land in occupied Palestine
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, — Head of Shari’a court of appeal in 1948 occupied Palestinian land Ahmed Natour affirmed that 90 percent of the Islamic Waqf (endowment) lands were confiscated by Israel at the pretext of the absentee property law enacted in 1950s and were used for different purposes.
Judge Natour added that the rest of the Islamic holy sites and Waqf lands were exposed to different violations by official parties such turning the Palestinian graveyards into commercial projects.
For his part, Dr. Abdulqader Hammad, an assistant professor at the Aqsa university in Gaza, warned of the Israeli occupation authority’s continued excavations in the historical Ma’manullah cemetery in Jerusalem at the pretext of building a museum.
The professor appealed to all concerned international organizations to immediately intervene to stop the Israeli massacre being committed against the Arab and Islamic heritage in Jerusalem, especially what is happening nowadays in the Ma’manullah cemetery.
