IOA escalates its attack and incitement against Islamic Movement
The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) escalated its attack and incitement against the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands and accused its leaders of instigating disturbances in the Aqsa Mosque and urging Palestinians to hold a vigil inside the Mosque.
Israeli deputy premier Silvan Shalom called Tuesday for declaring the Islamic Movement an unlawful organization and arresting its leaders sheikh Ra’ed Salah and Kamal Khatib.
Knesset member Moshe Matalon and Israeli minister Uzi Landau also called for taking firm action against sheikh Salah and his Islamic Movement.
In another context, the IOF troops invaded at dawn Tuesday different areas in Nablus, Bethlehem, Qalqiliya and Al-Khalil and kidnapped 12 Palestinians including one woman.
The IOF troops also reportedly kidnapped on Monday evening four Palestinian citizens in Qalqiliya and Salfit and physically assaulted two citizens in occupied Jerusalem and Al-Khalil.
Palestinian eyewitnesses told the Palestinian information center (PIC) reporter that a 70-year old man called Khalil Atfaiha was moderately wounded on Monday and transferred to hospital after he was ran over deliberately by an Israeli car bordered by a settler near his grape grove in Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
