IOA persists in banishing Palestinians
GAZA, The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) maintained its banishment policy of Palestinian citizens and deported Hani Eshtiwi from Beer Sheba to the Gaza Strip on Monday.
Wa’ed society for prisoners, which reported the news, said in a press release on Monday that the new step was in implementation of the Israeli decision 1650 that stipulates the banishment of “illegal” Palestinian residents.
It described the Israeli decision as the new “Nakba”, and called on the negotiating team of the Ramallah authority to seriously consider this “tragic issue”.
The society said that the tent of deportees pitched at the Erez crossing would remain in its place to host the deportees, vowing to organize protest steps against this decision.
