IOA turns Jerusalem into army barracks, blocks worshipers from heading to Aqsa

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Monday deployed big numbers of policemen and border guards in occupied Jerusalem and blocked Muslims worshipers from heading to the Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources said that the intensive security deployment started at dawn in all streets of the holy city and blocked the worshipers who offered their dawn prayers in the street.

They said that the IOA was trying to prevent Palestinian Muslims from defending the holy Aqsa Mosque in face of desecration attempts by fanatic Jews.

Yediot Ahronot on Monday quoted the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied Palestine as saying that it would continue to send people to the Aqsa Mosque and would not be deterred by the Israeli occupation police measures.

For its part, the Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage warned of the serious Israeli court ruling on Sunday that sanctioned the Jews’ right to offer prayers inside the Aqsa Mosque along with military escort.

It said that the ruling “legitimized” such right and the security protection.

The Foundation reiterated that the Aqsa Mosque was wholly for Muslims and no power on Earth would change this fact.
