IOF raid kills five Palestinians in central Gaza
GAZA, Five Palestinian resistance fighters were killed in an Israeli air raid on their position in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza Strip at a late hour on Saturday night.
An Israeli army spokesman claimed that the warplanes attacked a group of Palestinian fighters while trying to fire rockets at Israeli targets in 1948 occupied Palestinian land.
For his part, Adham Abu Salmiya, the spokesman of the higher committee for ambulance and emergency, told the PIC that five Palestinians were killed east of Deir Al-Balah.
Medical and security sources had earlier told the PIC reporter that an explosion shattered the silence on Saturday night in central Gaza as Israeli warplanes were hovering overhead.
They said that five were killed in the blast and their bodies were taken to hospitals in Khan Younis and Deir Al-Balah.
