IOF soldiers detain 8 foreigners in Beit Jala march

BETHLEHEM, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired excessive amount of teargas canisters at the participants in the weekly anti wall march organized in Beit Jala town, Bethlehem district, each Sunday.

The IOF soldiers deliberately fired the canisters at nearby Palestinian homes causing breathing problems for 15 citizens, some of whom fainted. They were treated on the spot.

The soldiers also rounded up eight foreign solidarity activists during the march that started after the Sunday Service, where participants marched the city streets then headed to the construction site of the racist, separation wall.

Participants, including tens of foreign activists, hoisted Palestinian flags and placards denouncing the Israeli occupation and demanding immediate world intervention to halt construction of the separation wall.

The soldiers kicked the foreign activists and hit them with batons before arresting eight of them.
