IOF soldiers detain civilians including five boys, wound a child
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinian citizens in various West Bank areas at dawn Sunday and detained five boys in Al-Khalil on Saturday.
The Hebrew radio said that five citizens were arrested in Nablus, Ramallah and Al-Khalil districts after searching their homes.
In Al-Khalil, local sources told the PIC that IOF troops detained five Palestinian boys during confrontations in downtown Al-Khalil on Saturday.
They said that the detainees, who were held for throwing stones at the soldiers, were carried to a settlement outpost “Beit Romanim” at the entrance to the Old City.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian child was injured and a number of citizens suffered breathing difficulties during confrontations with IOF soldiers in Irak Burin village, south of Nablus, on Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses said that the IOF troops fired bullets and teargas at citizens who were marching in protest against the confiscation of their land and the constant Jewish settlers’ attacks on their village.
