IOF soldiers quell Palestinian schoolchildren
QALQILIA, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday stormed the city of Qalqilia igniting clashes with schoolchildren who threw stones at the invading soldiers who retaliated by firing gunshots to terrorize the pupils. Witnesses said that three IOF patrols stormed the city and were met by stone throwing schoolchildren after the soldiers provoked them. They said that the soldiers roamed the city streets firing at random to terrorize the civilians. An Israeli settler was injured in the outskirts of the city last night when stones were thrown at her car. Her husband got out of the car and fired in all directions immediately after the incident but no one was hurt in the shooting. In Nablus district, IOF troops used force to quell a peaceful anti wall march in Irak Burn village wounding one of the participants. Local sources said that tens of citizens headed to the land threatened with confiscation north of the village and were confronted by a barrage of rubber bullets and teargas bombs. Citizens of the village organize a weekly demonstration each Saturday to protest the confiscation decision and to denounce the Israeli settlers’ crimes against those citizens, who are blocked from entering their farmlands.
