IOF troops detain 9 citizens in Al-Khalil
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped five Palestinian citizens in Beit Ola village, Al-Khalil district, at dawn Monday while four others were kidnapped from Beit Ummar village last night.
Local sources told the PIC that the tens of IOF soldiers stormed Beit Ola at dawn and launched a large-scale search campaign after which five civilians were arrested including a 16-year-old boy.
The Hebrew radio said that the four others were rounded up in Beit Ummar for allegedly repeatedly throwing stones at a nearby settlement over the past two weeks.
IOF troops also confiscated a vehicle belonging to a Palestinian citizen in Edhna village, south of Al-Khalil, on Monday without any reason given.
The Palestinian prisoners association said in its monthly report that the IOF detained 65 Palestinians in Al-Khalil district in April.
