IOF troops detain four West Bankers including student

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up four Palestinians in the districts of Jenin and Tulkarem at dawn Sunday despite the severe rainy weather, Hebrew media reported.

The website of Yediot Ahronot reported said that three of those were detained in Jenin and one in Tulkarem, a university student.

Locals reported that the IOF soldiers wreaked havoc in the homes of the student’s father and uncle.

Meanwhile, tension is still running high in Al-Khalil after two days or protests over the Israeli decision to include the Ibrahimi and Bilal mosques in the list of Jewish heritage sites.

Jewish settlers also attacked Palestinian homes and threw stones at them as the IOF soldiers imposed a curfew on the Palestinian inhabitants of the old city on Friday night at the pretext of allowing settlers to celebrate their so-called Purim festival.
