IOF troops shatter the dream of a Palestinian university student from Gaza
WEST BANK — The Israeli occupation authorities have deported a Palestinian student due to graduate in six weeks from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip on the pretext that Palestinians from Gaza cannot reside in the West Bank, according to the Hebrew website "walla".
The young woman lived and studied in the West Bank since 2005 and did not visit her family in the Gaza Strip fearing that if she did she would not be able to get back to her university.
Walla also reported that Israeli troops arrested Berlenti Azzam on Wednesday at a roadblock near Bethlehem and then deported her to the Gaza Strip.
Hundreds of students from the Gaza Strip have been prevented from completing their university education outside the Gaza Strip because of the siege which has been imposed on the Strip by the Israeli occupation and its allies for the past three years.
