IOF troops storm home of MP, threaten to demolish six homes in Al-Khalil

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the home of MP Hatem Qufaisha in Al-Khalil city in a pre dawn raid on Wednesday and told him to report for interrogation later in the morning.

The MP told the PIC reporter that the IOF soldiers thoroughly searched his home and broke into the home of his brother Subhi, who was released a few days ago from jails of Mahmoud Abbas’s militias.

Qufaisha said that the commander of the IOF unit handed him an order to report to the Israeli security headquarters in Etzion north of Al-Khalil.

Abbas’s militias had stormed the homes of Qufaisha four weeks ago at the pretext of searching for his brother Subhi who was detained by those militias on three occasions over the past two months.

Meanwhile, the IOF soldiers handed demolition orders to the landlords of six homes in Yatta village, south of Al-Khalil, at the pretext of building without permit.

The IOF soldiers had rounded up nine citizens in Al-Khalil city and surrounding villages at dawn Tuesday.
